Reminds me to get a reproduction Florida inspection sticker for my '71 - still has a little mark on the windscreen where the originals were too.

Do you folks know about this site?

"Robert Hoyt's Classic Windshield Stickers

CONGRATULATIONS!! You have found a web site that will allow you to purchase virtually any classic Inspection, Registration, Gas Ration or WW2 sticker issued in the United States from 1928 to 1987. We have some Canada and foreign countries. We now have Auto Logo, Muscle car and Race track stickers from years gone by. Awesome vintage items to finish off your classic restoration, VIN stickers, under the hood stickers, door jamb decals and Jack instruction stickers.

Over 2000 stickers in stock. Our Inspection stickers are reproduced nearly identical to the originals, both front and back, in size and color. They have our peel and stick format which allows the sticker to be placed on the inside window of your classic, (except some CA and Hawaii went outside). custom designs also available. Can't find it, We'll make it . We GUARANTEE your satisfaction if we have to remake your sticker."

Yes, though I am concerned whether his reproductions look the same as the sample images online. It's painfully obvious that the '71-72 Florida decal image on the site is a reproduction (wrong font, poor resolution of images).

Granted, if the production example is proper, I'll use his service. If not, I might see if I can find an original reference photo - in which case, I can draw the proper artwork in Illustrator and print it on suitable paper.
