latest project
Latest project for winter. I am in the process of finally putting my daughters 77 back together. It is going to school on Monday for collision repair class to be painted. There is going to be an awful lot of sanding before paint or primer.

I'm really glad to see a Mustang II getting a little attention. They need lovin' too!

I'm an analog man in a digital world.
One of these years me too. Haven't touched mine in years doing stangs for my daughters
Cool deal keep us posted.
Looks good, Jim. Gonna put some of that training to use, eh? Smile

Project started 8-7-10
Completed: All new suspension, rebuilt 351C H Code bored .030 over with mild cam and intake, new 3.50 TracLok, custom exhaust system
Current "mini-project": interior upgrade Undecided
Finally making progress on the 77. The front clip hood and trunk lid are all sanded and primed. The doors will be primed next week and after christmas break will be starting on the body.
The delima that I have now is do I go with the 4 cylinder or go with a 302. Can't ask the daughter because she doesn't know it is being restored. I'm leaning towards the 302 but not sure.

I would go with the 302 and keep it mild
Keep in mind it uses a unique smaller c4 bell housing if it is an auto.
302 for sure. I think it would pay off in the long run.
Maybe an EcoBoost V6... well, maybe NOT! Big Grin

A turbo 4 banger would be cool, an SVT Mustang II

Low buck, touring style, '73 Convertible "rolling restoration", 351c, 2v heads with a shave and a haircut, Performer intake, Holley 650(ish), roller rockers, screw in studs, guideplates, stainless valves, Duraspark / Motorsports MSD, T-5 conversion. 1-1/8" front, 3/4" rear swaybars KYB shocks and some home brewed subframe connectors. Future plans; JGC steering box, Cobra brakes and... paint, interior, etc.

When I die I want to die like grandpa, peacefully in my sleep... not screaming, like his passenger.
