June 2016 COTM

Hi everyone. I have been meaning to get around to this for a couple of years now, so here it is.

I purchased this car in 2013 in Perth Australia. It is a 1973 mach1 Q code car with original 4V 351 engine and did have the FMX transmission but I have since changed to a C4. The car had partially undergone a restoration and was supposedly 80% complete. Reality was about 40% but you all know how that goes. I have way too much in the car and don't expect to recoup the cost but I guess I consider it as I saved a Mustang.

It has been resprayed to black, before I bought it, which looks great and I fitted the torque thrust II rims and tyres. I have fitted CHI heads and roller rockers along with 750 Holley and MSD ignition. An aluminium radiator with twin thermo fans finishes off the cooling system. Interior has been complete redone, changed from ginger to black and a nice stereo fitted using a Retro Sound deck with pre-amp to amps and sub woofers. The car was previously converted to right hand drive, which I enjoy as it saves reversing through drive thru's.

Car now drives well, is comfortable with a great exhaust note and some reasonable tunes if in the mood. I just love getting this car on the road and it never fails to be noticed. Hope y'all enjoy my pride and joy.

You got my vote! Car looks great. I love the stance. What rims and tire size do you have on it? Pics are really nice.

Thanks very much. Rims are 15x7 front and 15x10 rear with 295.60 tyres.

The car was previously slammed but I actually lifted it back up. Much more practical and I like the stance as well.

"I love my Hookers!" and "Get some Strange" probably have a different connotation to non automotive enthusiasts!
