Is there a piece that goes on the dash passenger side?
#1
The holes for the screws seem large. This is where the passenger side dash piece mounts to the bottom of the dash pad. Is there a trim piece missing?

The plastic usually gets opened up = hole too lsrge - use black washers or buy a repro deluxe dash trim

The part Doug the dog shows below is for standard interior.
You would think NPD would know that.

Standard is only the plastic strip. Deluxe integrates it into the dash trim.

Interesting. I will have to see more pics. I think my convertible had a 'standard interior' but I don't really know.

Well that explains a lot! I've wondered for ages why the holes are so big. I didn't realise there was anything missing.

In 72 and 73 deluxe interior was standard in the convertible
