Is it just me, or does everyone...

... scour the Mustang car show pictures found in Mustang Monthly (or other Mustang rags) trying to find all the '71-'73 Mustangs - kinda like a 'Where's Waldo' thing, but with our cars. Big Grin

For instance:

Guilty Tongue I'm glad its not just me. I was watching the 2004 Hot Rod power tour on the show Rides recently. I kept hinting pause when I thought I saw a 71-73.

Yup, I'm guilty of that too! :-)
Doesn't it make you feel special when you realize that your car would really stand out amid these cars?

That, and it also usually means a guaranteed 'Best In Class' trophy at the smaller shows. Tongue Smile Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

That looks like the 'all others' section... I mean, how many 4-door Mustangs are there, anyway? Wink Big Grin

I use to scour the Mustang Monthly but like many car shows they lean toward newer cars IMO. So I save the dollar a month subscription and look at the Ford dealers as I drive byDodgy

now I will have to admit its becoming more obvious that we own some unique creatures and when you see one... it STANDS OUT!Big Grin

Yep ours are rare birds at the car shows. Last year I entered mine into a Mustang only car show, there were almost 200 Mustangs, mine was the only 71-73 entered, so naturally I won first in class!

When I mention I won first in class there is always some smart ass that asks the inevitable question "how many were there in your class?" Blush
