Intrument gauge plugs
#1
Ok, so I'm trying to do a little rewiring due to a previous owner who hacked the hell out of my harnesses and I'm a little confused.

Can someone explain what wires are for what on the plug that goes into the back of the speedo gauge please??? What number goes to what, etc. There are different color wires connected to wires that are completely different colors and some wires are just plain out cut and left.......not even taped up or covered or anything...Angry I can't seem to find a breakdown of it anywhere on the net.

Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks in advancem

Did you look at the wiring diagram here on this site?

Actually I have the same wiring diagram I got from a swap meet and it doesn't show pin location or numbers. The P/O has spliced and cut sooo many wires, it's impossible to track down what goes where for what. I have red w/white wires connected to a black wire, etc. There is alot of stuff out of place.
