IMPORTANT Thread - Please Read
Good Day All!

Boss1Ray and I have decided to try and bring back the Weekly Fun Question (WFQ) and VIP Weekly Fun Question exercises.

For those of you who are "New" to the Site and those who may have failing memoriesSmile, below are the specifics for the two exercises.

1. The WFQ is usually posted each Saturday on the WFQ Forum and is designed as an "ENTERTAINMENT" exercise to give "General" Members the opportunity to test their knowledge on information relative to the '71 - '73 Mustangs. It is also meant to allow the same members the opportunity to have a red ribbon icon added to their profile when they are the FIRST to provide the desired response. Additionally, if a general member "wins" on three (3) separate occasions, the member will have his/her membership (a $25.00 value) paid for a VIP subscription on the Site. VIP Members have access to a "special" VIP hidden Forum which has more space for PMs and a number of other "perks."

2. A different WFQ is also usually posted on the VIP WFQ Forum. This allows VIP Members the opportunity to win a special green ribbon icon, earn "bragging rights" amongst their peers and the option to create the WFQ for the following week. VIP Members should not respond to the question on the General Members WFQ Forum. It should be noted that VIP Members also have an additional perk in the form of a special Periodic Fun Question whereby the VIP Member could win a $100.00 store credit or other special items with one of our Vendor sponsors and receive the blue ribbon icon on their profile.

Below is some additional information as to the "process" and "rules."

When you respond to either of the WFQs threads, you will not normally see your "answer" (or those submitted by other Members) as the threads are designed to show the responses at the end of the current contest (usually at approximately 7:00 P.M. {CST}) when the thread is transferred to the appropriate "Archives" Forum. This is normally effected on the following Monday. We do this so that a subsequent Member cannot get a "leg up" on the desired response by viewing an incomplete or otherwise inaccurate response submitted by another Member.

Even though there may have been a number of replies to a particular question, those replies may not necessarily be correct and/or complete. It is to your benefit to submit a response even if it is a "Guess", especially for the Multiple Choice questions. You can actually go to the WFQ or VIP Archive Forums to view the previous WFQs and the responses to give you some idea as to the previous questions that have been generated - - interesting reading.

Please keep in mind that sometimes there may be contradictory information provided by different sources relative to our Mustangs. We always try to ensure the WFQs are developed from recognized and/or authoritative sources. That having been said, if a "incorrect" response cites a source that provides different information than what we are looking for, we will more than likely go with the original source for the purpose of declaring a "winner." That does not mean that we will not discuss the discrepancy as that could help enhance credibility and broaden the knowledge on the Site.

We are tentatively looking at posting a WFQ and a VIP WFQ sometime on Saturday, March 8, 2013.

Stay Tuned!

Do the RIGHT thing.

Thanks BT!
