How to add photos to your posts?
Adding photos to your posts is fairly easy...click the Answer box above to learn how!
Posting photos in your posts can be done in several ways. The easiest way is to use the NEW ATTACHMENT field at the bottom of the post editor screen. Just click BROWSE and navigate to a photo you have saved on your PC. The downside of this method is that you will eventually run out of upload space and not be able to use this method without removing some of your old uploads.

The alternative method is to host your photos online with a service like Photobucket, Imageshack or TinyPic. Our forum even offers a quick screen for TinPic that allows you to upload a photo and get the url to post in the forum without leaving this site! It is located in the forum footer bar ( [Image: tiny.ico] ) and at the bottom of the post editor screen. No matter what service you use, what you want to do is get the url address to post here. This will look like a regular web address but will end in .jpg, .jpeg, .gif or .png. Once you copy this address from the hosting site, you can click the button in our post editor that has a mountain and sun. This opens a box where you can add the entire address. Some services like Photobucket and TinyPic allow you to copy the message board url ready to paste! It will look like something like this:

Code:
[img]http://your_title_here@domain.jpg[/img]
(The [img] tags are what you are looking for!)

You can just copy the address and paste it right in our post editor! That's all there is to it!

If you have any questions or problems, post here or feel free to PM me at any time!

I tried the attachment advice, but all I got on the preview was a couple of gray(sorry, color blind, best guess) brackets.

If there are no numbers in the bracket "[4435]" you never posted the attachment. Once you 'add attachment' look down below the 'browse'
button and there should be the name of the picture you want to add.
Something like "HPMI17732.jpg" or whatever you call the picture
on your computer. Look right and there is a button "insert in post" or
something like that. When you click that button, the picture will be
inserted wherever the cursor is blinking in you message so make sure
the cursor is where you want it. A bracketed number "[44435]" will
appear. That is where your picture will display. You won't see the
actual picture until your post the thread. You can always edit your
post anytime if you don't like the way it looks.
