Hi to all
Hi All

Just a quick note to say that I am looking forward on increasing my knowledge on all things V8 and Mustang related - and hopefully sharing some of the things too.

Despite not owning (not yet in any case Undecided ) a Mustang, I am constantly on the lookout for a good deal here in SA - they tend to be really pricey and well guarded in our neck of the woods.

Current running project car:
A '69 Fairmont XT with a 71' 351C in it. I decided on fitting an AOD for better consumption on the open road.

Current work-in-progress car (for the wife):
A '60 F100. I have replaced the 298 Y-Block that it came with, with a 301W.
I am busy re-doing the 302 and hope to start it in the next week or so!. This is my firtst V8 motor that I would have rebuild from the block up!
Will be running a C4 auto box in this one.

Future work-in-progress car (hopefully within the next year I will start on this one):
I know this is a Ford forum, (and I have four of them at home so I do love the Blue), but the next one is my '57 Chrysler Imperial Crown.
This baby is in a bad state and will require some serious body work. But from the pix I've seen, it will be wort the effort.
Planning on installing a 590ci into this one.

So that in a nutshell is what I am up to now.

Looking forward to chatting soon.
This one from SA is not for sell for sure:

You have an Australian XT Fairmont? I think we'd all like to see some pics of that! (especially us Aussies...)
