Hello from Virginia Beach, VA
#1
Hello,
I have always wanted a mustang and I am finally purchasing one of cl this week. It's a 1973. I have partially restored a 1972 chevy c-10 that was given to me from some family. I have some experience and understanding, but have a lot to learn. The mustang I am about to purchase needs a full restoration, although much of the body is in good condition. I will post pictures soon. Any specific info that someone new to mustangs must know, or any general tips at all would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Welcome from central Virginia. Glad you found us. The main thing to look for is rust! Quarter panels, rear spring shackles, shock towers, floor pans, trunk, and cowl seem to be where rust hates our cars.
