Hello from Montana
    Hi everybody. I have 73 Mach 1 that I am currently working on for my wife. This form seems to a have lot of good information and will be extremely helpful in what I have planned for this car. Some of the things that I have done to the car so far are top loader, 411 gears, intake and carburetor, headers and mild cam.

I look forward to hearing more about your '73. Which toploader are you using, the close ratio or the wide ratio? Is this a 351C car? 2V or 4V heads? When you get the opportunity, you might want to start your "garage" to show all the particulars.

I am also curious about your '71 Thunderbird. Is it a four door or two door Landau? I understand 1971 was the last year for those options.

Low buck, touring style, '73 Convertible "rolling restoration", 351c, 2v heads with a shave and a haircut, Performer intake, Holley 650(ish), roller rockers, screw in studs, guideplates, stainless valves, Duraspark / Motorsports MSD, T-5 conversion. 1-1/8" front, 3/4" rear swaybars KYB shocks and some home brewed subframe connectors. Future plans; JGC steering box, Cobra brakes and... paint, interior, etc.

When I die I want to die like grandpa, peacefully in my sleep... not screaming, like his passenger.

Thank you for the warm welcome.. The car is gunmetal gray with 2v heads and a wide ratio top loader from a 67 GT 390. The 351 will probably stay in the car seems like the wife does not feel the need for speed like I do.
