Thank you for the note - good question. That's simply because she is not that much involved and wants me to do what's necessary to get her car back on the road asap. Another thing is that she doesn't have much technical understanding and not much experience with car clubs and forums.

I am also Member of the First Mustang Club of Germany.

I used to be a member of 1st Mustang Club of Germany! I quit my membership after only a year or two, realizing what a joke that club was, including its president!

Markus,

welcome to the site!

I have a a 1973 Mach 1 T5 with a 4 speed and a 351C 4V, which I restore to factory specs. It is one of 299 T5 Sportsroofs ever built, in this combination with Gold Glow, vinyl roof etc. surely a real one of one. I have all original informations about it, paperwork, all T5-emblems etc. My resto is pausing at the moment because of some family and house related, 'more important' things, you know... But here you can follow my whole thread and read the current state:

https://www.7173mustangs.com/thread-tim-...ild-thread

Furthermore my father has a 1973 T5 covertible too, one of 84 ever built. It has also a 351C 4V in it, but with an automatic and electric windows. It is perhaps the only one unmolested '73 T5 convertible worldwide. Original paint, wheels, stickers, emblems etc. ALL! Only oil, coolant, brake shoes and some other necessarities were changed, but all NOS or concourse specs! My father and my mother regularly tripping around with it and take it for a picknick thumb

So if you need some informations about it you are welcome to call me Wink

Hi Tim,

thank you for your note - I immediately spent the whole morning to go through your thread - that's awesome! Absolutely fine what you do with a lot of passion and how professional you restore your car. You know each and every bolt on your car by first name, don't you?   thumb  That gives a lot of motivation on my project(s) even if I don't get close to your accurate work! Looking forward to seeing your progress.

I'll certainly get in touch if you don't mind - even if it seems you don't have time to chat next to your project!

Best,

Markus

Markus,

thank you for your kind words, I appreciate that much!

Your welcome to ask and contact me for further questions! Time is not that much at the moment but for some words on the Mustang there will be time every here and there Wink

I am happy to be someone's inspiration and motivation - I need that from time to time too for doing hard work on everything!

All the best and hear from you soon,

Tim
