Headliner and sail panel quality
#1
I'm getting ready to purchase a headliner and sail panels. I see they sell original style material with original grain and then TMI sells a more expensive vinyl material with original grain. Any opinions or experiences of which is of better quality? Is it worth the extra money for the TMI's or is the original style just as good? Thanks, Ryan.

I just installed the headliner below from CJ's along with sail panels. The packaging was from Distinctive Industries and quality was good and no issues with install other than figuring out how to do it. The only real problem was the wrinkles from packaging that sat in my garage for two years. I was able to smooth them out pretty easily with a heat gun though. This is what I used below.

I bought the basic stuff from CJ's. I don't remember brand but I was shopping by price, (cheapest). I have a black interior and I remember the sail panels had the little tab on the back to keep them from bowing out. When I tried to install sail panels using this little tab they ripped off, but I installed them anyway and they are still holding up. The headliner was good quality, my install was tricky as I glued too far up on the tack strips in a couple places and now you can see it if you look hard but overall it looks good. The quality of both pieces seems to be decent enough!
