Headers

I've been looking for a set of long tube ceramic coated headers for my 71 MACH 1 351c 2v with PS/AC, C6. Cannot find a set that is made for the C6 and PS that does not require relocating the PS pump via a new bracket. Anyone know of either Flowtech, Hedman, Hooker, Doug's/Pertronix or any other brand that will work?

Hooker 6921 should work. The power steering bracket discussion is for Falcon/Torino/Montego that did not change to the Saginaw steering box in 1971 like the Mustang did. Chuck

I am running the same setup as you and I am running Hedman longtube ceramic headers. They fit great and easy to install.

Thanks Chuck, just saw the Hooker 6921's after I posted the message. Appreciate the response. Turtle, what Hedman part number are you using on yours?

I have long tubes on my 4v Cleveland and hate them. They hang down do low, they scrape on everything. Has anyone found a nice shortie or mid-length header they like?

Turtle, do these give any problems? On the "Applications" tab under the footnotes it states these are only for C4 transmissions. Do they also fit your C6 ok?

O, damn sorry I wasn't paying attention to your first post. I have a c4 in mine. Sorry about that. But they do fit very well with my c4, but that don't help you .
