Nance I've had Hagerty on the 67 Vert for 5 years and added the 71 Mach last year. Pretty easy to deal with... but I haven't needed to "use" them either.

I've had Hagery for about 10 years now. Had a claim on both cars during that time. About $1100 for a dented fender on the 73 and another for $2500 on the Mach when I drove in into my trailer tongue. No problems with either claim. Paid the claims quickly after they talked with the repair shop. Rates never went up. I still pay $289 a year.

I use Haggerty but never had a claim. A friend of mine uses them as well, when he hit some road debris and damaged his fuel tank they covered it... no questions. When he found concealed damage the stepped up for that too.

I've used Hagerty for 6 years on both a '66 coupe and my '71 Mach. When I had to get a rock-chipped windshield replaced (they insisted on replacing it rather than repairing it), they looked all over the US for a concourse-correct windshield (correct logos, etc), found one in Iowa, shipped it to me and had it replaced, no cost. I also had a rear quarter-panel dent a couple years ago on my Mach 1 (problem at a gas station) that they paid right away & didn't charge more for. I highly recommend them.

I have had Hagerty for two years now. Have had no claims, but they are easy to work with.

I just switched to Hagerty from Grundy. Grundy was starting to nickel and dime me on some issues--wanted to change coverage, bam, "underwriting fee" plus the value increases. I understand the value increases because that is what I asked for, but I don't appreciate being hit with fees as if they are an airline!

Hagerty actually has a little bit better coverage as well. They offer a small spare parts coverage (not near what I have, but at least it is something), they cover earthquake damage (something to worry about where I live), and they were slightly cheaper. Works for me!
