Grand Opening of MOM Mustang Owner's Museum
To all,
I just got the link to go get my hotel reservations for the Grand Opening of the MOM Mustang Owner's Museum that will be in Charlotte, N.C. located on the Dennis and Daniel Carpenter facility. This is just down the road from the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
The first day of the celebration of 55 years of Mustang will start 8:00 am next to the MOM facility. There are plans for an open track day at the speedway that is a hoot. The use the road coarse then come onto the oval for turn one two and the back stretch and around 3 and 4 and then back on road course in the infield.
I am booked at the Hampton from the 17th. to the 20th. April 2019.
Here is link to the info for the event.

They will also have guest speakers from Ford and they hope to be able to have Gale Halderman attend again. He is the designer that sat at his kitchen table and made the first sketches of the 1965 mustang that were picked for the initial designs. Also Lee Holman is due to be there to talk and answer any questions you might have.
They will also do a parade lap on the track for all attending the show that will be no cost. We did 5 or 6 laps this year and was fun. The open track day does come with a cost depending on what you want. All info is not final as it is early.
I was the only 71 73 mustang there this year so we need to get more cars out for the show. Hope to get a group from my local Mustang club, Blue Ridge Mustang Club of Asheville to go down. We have our monthly meeting tonight for dinner.

When a man is in the woods and talks and no women are there is he still wrong??
