Front springs
#1
Hi,
Suspect that the front suspension is mounted wrong ...
The spring is mounted with the flat side down and cut short (cut) section from above together with the rubber insulator.
Please advice.

Thanks,Eddy

Post photo.

If it is upside down, you will have to remove tire/wheel, shock, and spring.

You will need a:
1. Spring compressor(rent at local auto parts store).
2. An air compressor with an impact wrench makes this job easy.
3. With the spring compressors I have rented, I have needed about 2" of extra wide flat washers to put on the spring compressor bolt. So those are about 9/16" holed. Take the spring compressor to the hardware store. Once you try to compress the spring, you will see why you need the washers.

Sorry, I don't have photos to show you.

Good catch though.

If its flat end down they're definitely upside down. The cut end should sit in the saddle with the end of the cut spring up against the tab on the saddle.
