front disc brake hose routing

Hello
Im new to your site. Im doing a disc brake swap to my 71 mustang,does anyone have a picture of how the front brake hoses are routed? Im using stock 72 Mustang parts. Thanks for any help,  Mike

Welcome from Iowa. Don't have the ability to snap a pic of hose routing at the moment. Perhaps someone else has a pic.

73 Grandé H Code. Headman long tube headers, T-5 Transmission, 3.70 Traclok, Lowered 1" all around, Aussie 2v heads w/ 2.19 intake, 1.71 exhaust, screw in studs, full roller cam 608/612 lift 280/281 duration LSA 112, Quick Fuel 750 CFM double pumper, AirGap intake.

I swapped mine from drum to disc a few years back and used a 72 convertible as a donor.  I was able to re-use the drum hard lines and just tweak them a little. Here's a pic of how I routed mine. Not sure if it's corrrct, but it worked for me.

Thank you for the picture, those brakes are sexy.  Did you have to redo the lines to the new proportioning valve or were the fittings the same?  Did you go with power or manual brakes and how do you like them?   Thanks again , Mike

I am still running the stock manual drum brake master cylinder and proportioning valve. They have been in there for years and work great. I am also running disc brakes in the rear. Car stops straight and with little effort for being manual brakes. I have the brake booster, pedal assembly and everything to convert to power in the future but just haven't got around to it.

Im going to run the 72 disc ,drum proportioning valve and a manual disc brake master (its a maverick part number)  I have a booster too but Im going to see how this set up works and go from there,Thanks again for the info.  Mike
