Ford Engine Sizes

For those of you interested in engine swaps, from Hot Rod magazine
   

For your information, at the top of the shock towers mine are about 29 3/4" apart, and at the widest point lower down are about 30 3/4" inches apart.

Cool. Out of curiosity, what is the weight of the Cayote?

wow they are almost the same as a 302 engine. never looked them up so wondering how hard they hit the pocket book.

Around 450lbs for the aluminum block Coyote.

3K out of a wrecked car with electronics would be about right around here
5-7K with a used transmission and electronics

Over on one of the facebook sites there is pics of one going in one now. No shock tower changes.
That is the info that is in the Ford catalog but has I think all Ford engines. I did look for my copy but as usual I put it somewhere that I would not forget and now cannot find it.
