Flywheel size?? How many teeth?
#11
Got new ring gear today. Heated up old one and smacked it few times and it popped right off. Heated new one up and it dropped right on!  Really easy job to do, so don’t scrap those old flywheels!! Ring gear is cheap and easy!!

Sweet....

Another trick was to flip the ring gear around. Comes in hand when you have no dough or the parts store is closed and you need to drive it to work on Monday.

HAHA! goodpost  yeah that's some old school ingenuity!!!  That probably would of worked in this case too.  But for under $20 and I got the part in 1 day it wasn't bad!

Kevin, that's a good deal for sure on the ring gear.
Are you having the flywheel reground and did you decide on a clutch yet?
On Mustang360 today, there is a video from McCleod Clutches on the "proper" break-in procedure. What I thought was amusing is the guy is driving an 89 Fox Mustang in SoCal and it's RIGHT HAND DRIVE!!

I learn something new every day!
