Expensive Mustang

Hey check this mustang out on eBay. I know it is not 71 - 73 but quite a car. I was looking for HiPo 289 stuff and this came up. Quite a story for sure but crazy money for a Mustang. Asking for $1,099,000.00 to buy it now.

I would like to have one of those engines for sure.

I was at that race (but still inside my Mom). That car would be really cool to own.

Cool. Thanks for posting.

I had no idea about the motor being built by Holman Moody. Interesting for sure.

On a side-note: That Motorola two-way radio is exactly like the ones used in my family's oil field service company. The advertising material touted the 'radio dispatched' aspect of the company. Back in the day, I remember at 5 years old using that same Motorola radio to call the dispatchers and having them call my mother at home on the land line and 'patch me through'... I still remember the frequency call sign! WOW - old memories!

Back to the car - obviously a car only for a museum. It would be tough to drive that one to run some errands! Smile
