electric plug passenger side of firewall

Feel much better now after walking away for a few hours. Checking harness for ignition system and are cutting out LOTS of splices. Found single wire plug by heater core black wire. Also red with lt green trace. One must feed ALT light and the other Hot from ignition to ? ANYONE??????

found red with Lt green is to +side of coil. And so far have cutout 7 splices for the Distributor feed alone. 5 more on this wire from plug connector. Glad I pulled all the old electrical tape off the harness. Should improve pick up resistance, ya think

I could be wrong but red with lite green...doesn't that go to the coil and there should be a red with white and a red with white stripe that goes to the oil sensor and the temp sensor.....

Evap canistor for emission control. It was supposed to capture gas vapor instead of releasing it to the atmosphere.

+1 and im suprized some one worried enough too make a tube and hook it back up...Mine still in my car...Unhooked thou.

I'll check my motor bay in the morning and see if i can spot that plug..if some one dont come along and give you a good anser Wink
