Electric fan
Looking to go with electric fan, better cooling, and less horsepower drain.
Anyone try Flex a Lite Black Magic 160 or 180 ? Any ideas welcome.

I'm running an electric fan just remember to get the most cfm possible. Mine also runs off a thermostat, but that was my choice
I'm running a 2-speed fan out of a Mercury Villager/Nissan Quest, got it at my local pick-and-pull for $30. I had to trim the shroud on it a tad and make some brackets to mount it, but it covers the majority of my rad and it works amazing and moves a ton of air. Here is a picture of it from last year before I installed the engine.

My son has a 97 dodge intrepid. It has dual fans mounted to a common shroud, it's perfectly sized to fit my Jegs aluminum radiator. I just need to go to the pick a part and get one.

I here the Lincoln Mark 8 ones work great
All sounds good, but I'll have to change my stock alternator. What are you guys with the electric fans using?

I have the one wire set up that came with my March system. 105 amp billet one
google ford 3g swap.

A slight tangent on the thread, but roughly speaking, how much HP savings (plus up) can you get from dropping the stock fan and using the electric one? Does anyone have any idea?
