Man, what a 2 weeks at work it has been. After 180+ stressfull hours at work for the 2 weeks i came home, went to the garage to start the stang up it just went click click click. Went down to the local auto store and bought an optima battery. I replaced the battery and battery tray also. Turned the the key and VAROOOOMMMM!!!
Ok, pulled her out of the garage and gave her a wash and a wax.
I could hear her saying "drive me". Told the wife i was gonna take the girlfriend for a spinBig Grin.
I drove out to one of the back roads where there is nothing for miles and put the pedal to the floor. When i looked at the speedo we were at 100mph. I rubbed the dash and said "That a girl".
I came home and walked in the house with a smile on my face and the wife asked " Was it good?". I said yup.Big Grin

Just something about driving these old beauts just takes the stress of life away.

Not only driving them, but just looking at mine puts a smile on my face. My wife says I should buy a big pedestal and put the car up on it in the front yard.

My girlfriend and I will be moving into a house together soon. She will not allow us to move into a house without a garage, because she wants me to have somewhere to work on the '72. She does not even like the car lol, she knows how happy it makes me to drive it though.

Once I get the '72 to the new house, I doubt I will be driving my '10 GT very much anymore. Smile

goodjob When you come through you have to stop off and show off the car. If you need a stopping point we are about the right place.
