Door Alignment help
#1
Passengers door closed great before I added the door weatherstrip today. Now I cannot get tit to catch the second latch and close, even with a firm slam.

There is a lot of pressure from the seal as the door closes. Should I adjust the front of the door out using the hinge to door bolts, or leave it partially closed for a while and pray that the seal will compress?

THANKS for the help!

Were the body lines good before? How much gap in the hood to fender lines? If all these were right before, I would just pull the striker out just enough to latch and it will compress with a little time.

I just replaced my strikers and i was surprised how much i could adjust them without significant changes in the lines.

If you don't have time to do it right the first time, you sure as Hell don't have time to do it right the second time.

No Hood or front fenders on the car yet. The body lines were great at the rear 1/4 and the rocker panel.
