Donor automatic Transmission for 73 mustang 351 Cleveland
I have a 1973  Mustang convertible .. Need to know  What over drive transmission would work out of   Another car
AOD out of a fox body is a very common and not difficult swap. Several members on here have done this exact swap.

And Welcome from Iowa. Post up some pics of the car.

73 Grandé H Code. Headman long tube headers, T-5 Transmission, 3.70 Traclok, Lowered 1" all around, Aussie 2v heads w/ 2.19 intake, 1.71 exhaust, screw in studs, full roller cam 608/612 lift 280/281 duration LSA 112, Quick Fuel 750 CFM double pumper, AirGap intake.

Another one is the AOD-E or 4R70W (wide-ratio version of the A0D-E). These are an electronically controlled version of the AOD, and require a separate electronic controller.

Here is what is involved in the swap to AOD

For the AOD-E/4R70W

There are more threads on OD transmissions in the forum, you will have to search for them.

And, please introduce yourself and your car. Be forewarned, we like pictures.
