Diff length
#1
Hi guys,

Just hoping someone could fill me in on the length of a 9 inch diff for these cars. My brother has a short 9 inch from a falcon (australian) lying around.

Cheers.

I don't know about the Australian Falcon but the following are the dimensions for our (1971 -1 973) Mustang rearends:

Flange to flange length: 56"

Spring perch to spring perch length:43"

As an added note, the following applies for other Mustangs:

1967 - 1970

Flange to flange length: 54 1/4"
Spring perch to spring perch length: 43"

1965 - 1967

Flange to flange length: 52 1/4"
Spring perch to spring perch length:43"

Hope this helps!
