Correct 1973 351C -engine: Is it hard to get?
How hard will be to get a correct 1973 351C engine (re-buildable) for a Q-code mustang? Will the best option be E-bay or Craigslist?
Around here..Both....usualy i pick up localy..But it counts how common they are in your area...In mine...Not hard to find...Run across one every year for a good price...400 too 800 range with heads and all alot of the time.

Btw..How correct you wanting it too be? Matching numbers would be allmost impossible..But you can put in the right year and motor for it.
Don't know the year but here's one for cheap.

72 Coupe
72 Mach 1
Hyena: You are correct just want to put the right one for the model year 1973 in case I make the purchase of the project car I am contemplating to buy.
That really shouldn't be much of a problem. Due to their low compression and new smog junk they were the least desireable of the 71-73 351's. whished I'd have known you needed one 6 months ago, I could have hooked you up. I opted for a 71 block with 70 quench heads for my 73.

Just cruising along minding our own business when BAM!!! The LAWS show up.
