CONSOLE DONE--PICS

Finished up the console for now..There's still a few little things I would like to do.. like redo the chrome using the metal tape like I had shown in one of my other posts about redoing the rear honeycomb panel trim..But I have to box it & have it shipped by the end of tomorrow so it can meet me in Colorado ..Came out nice considering all the cracks I had to repair..I will post up some pics once it's installed in the new 72

Here's my thread on how to use metal tape for the chrome trim..I'm going to do it at a later date..I'm just balls to the walls leaving for CO on tuesday.so I ran out of time..

Wow...you know I missed the note about using the tape for the chrome...I will have to check it out.

The one thing I always hated was removing/re installing the console. Always had trouble replacing the threaded fasteners into the hump....

Where do you get the tape lowes home depot? And what do you call it when you ask them for it just got some used moldings so I want to do the same thing before I install them, do you have any tips.

This is more than a hobby, its a Passion, its a way of life.
