Christmas Wish List
#1
Seems I was a very good boy this year, Santa (my lovely bride) was very good to me. He (She) got some of the items on my wish list for my upcoming interior refresh to get me started, photo below. If anyone has any suggestions on what other parts I should replace while I have the entire interior ripped out, please don't hesitate to let me know. Most of my interior is in pretty good shape except for the carpet and I really don't like the steering wheel. I still have to get the LED bulbs, the ACC Mass Back Carpet, the RAAMAT and a steering wheel.

One of the parts of note is the heater core I'm going to install. Based on what I've read and the videos I've seen, I may need some help with getting this installed. I'll be starting the interior refresh once we get all the holiday stuff taken down and stored. I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas...

Cool! I'm completely replacing my interior. The AMK products interior fastener kit is a must in my opinion, since those 40 year old screws in my car were shot. Don @ OMS carries them.

Be prepared, when you split the plenum to put in your heater core you may find that the drain nipple has broken off and/or the internal metal works are shot. Mine was and I bought a refurbished one, you have to buy both halves, I did and mine came from Classic Auto Air. I have A/C so I replaced my evaporator at the same time. It will also be a good time to check where the cowl enters the air handling plenum. Mine was packed with paper and therefore it caused a fair amount of rust which I fixed with a little metal work and some POR 15. I hope yours is fine just wanted you to be prepared. Tell Santa she was good to you.Wink

Thanks Steve, I hadn't really thought about fasteners. I bet you I would have when I start putting things back together. Great suggestion!

Thanks Jeff,

Great points and I will be taking lots of pictures when I do start cracking things open. I know I can count on your help!
