Brake Fluid Reservoir and Distribution Block
Hi All, I'm planning on having my brake fluid reservoir re-chromed and my distribution block as well! How does someone make sure none of the plating goes inside the bore and holes? Just screw old fittings in the holes with a crimped piece of brake line? What about the bore for the master cylinder? Chemical resistant rubber plugs?

is that actually chromed? Not polished aluminum?
Talk to your plating shop. I know when I had some stuff hot dipped galvanized they had me fill threaded holes with silicon RTV
libram, no this is not chromed yet...just cleaned up.
bentworker, I will talk to them
Here's a pic of my long ago chromed reservoir, thanks

I have a chromed engine to go with that! (Probably too small though 5 bolt 289) LOL

Once I started to chrome a part under the hood I won't stop until I'm satisfied with the outcome! That way I won't have to carry a mirror!
