Battery question
#1
My truck has a volt meter which I am not used to.
If I turn the key to the "on" position, the volt meter
reads 6 volts.  When I crank the truck the meter drops
to zero.  When the truck starts the meter reads a little
over 14V.  Is this normal?

When the key is in the run position the meter should read battery voltage. The meter may not receive voltage during cranking. The 14 volts while the engine is running is normal.

Will have to check it with the Fluke.
Already bought a red top.
The problem is the radio.
May have an anti-theft system and
if you interrupt the power supply it
locks out the radio.
