assebly lube

Is Lucus oil treatment ok to use or do I need a true assemble lube? The last motor I did I just used STP but it wa a stock 4-banger Starting with a totally bare block..

Can't beat moly assembly lube. White grease has a very high melting point and won't usually melt in the hot oil, leaving it to possibly plug up the filter. Rare, but I've heard of it happening if you use tooooo much and it makes its way to the filter.The Moly lube paste is the best for cams and has a very low melting point http://www.lucasoil.com/products/display...1&loc=show

Yea,Tho i cruise through the valley of the shadow of rice,I will fear no Turbo,For Torque art with me.Thy rods and crankshaft,they comfort me. Big Grin Robert
