ANZAC Day Donation in the name of 2 Members!
#1
We just got an anonymous donation in the name of two 7173Mustang members. The contributor would like the 2 lucky bloakes to know that the donation was from a fellow Aussie and to raise a beer for the fallen on ANZAC Day.

Congratulations, JimNiki and Flatback72!

And for the rest of us, here is a little Australian history lesson about ANZAC Day!

http://www.awm.gov.au/commemoration/anza...dition.asp

Thank you for the donation and God Bless Australia's Fallen Hero's. Salute

Gallipoil, was a terrible campaign for both sides with a conservative estimate of casualties numbering 324,765 dead and wounded in 8 months of fighting. Proude to be Australian and it brings a tear to my eye each time I go to a Dawn service.

I raise a toast to our Aussie brothers-in-arms. They have fought alongside us in every major war we’ve been in. Their courage is parallel to none and their professionalism is the standard. I have personally served alongside the Aussies in Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan and they treated me like one of their own. Likewise, my father served with the Killer Kangaroos in Vietnam and had nothing but phenomenal things to say. Thank you for being our strongest Allies my Aussie brothers.
