Anyone purchase the deluxe door panels from CJpp?
They are on sale this week and was curious what they thought of these.

I got them. As usual with repro parts I had some fitment issues. For example, if you look at the originals closely, their upper edge curves up slightly where they meet the inner rear quarter panels. As a consequence the chrome molding follows that line.
Now, the repro ones don't have that curve. So your molding won't fit and you have to make some compromise.
I tried to straighten the molding a little and allowed it to not sit flush against the panel at the end. That way I could keep a slight curve and it still looks like it all fits.

The worst part was that you need to cut the holes for the handles. What I did not like is that you need to cut through the vinyl and the padding. It has not yet caused problems but I would have preferred to have the holes from the factory and the vinyl safely wrapped around the corners.
Of course, If you cut too far, you can dump the new panels.
In my case, I even had to cut holes for the power window switches. That was a major pain because you have very little wiggle room.
Oh, and in the end I used double sided tape instead of the clips to attach the panels to the door because they would not line up properly but that could have been because of me missing a millimeters here and there with the position of the power window switches.
All in all it's an ok product if your originals are shot but they could be much better. The end result is ok though.

I'll be giving you a call soon. The temp is supposed to get above freezing any week now. Sad

I'll need to start a thread for the interior. I don't have a clue about that kind of stuff. Confused

You may want to pay someone to do the seat upholstery.
Then again, a bottle of Old Crow is cheaper and you will need it Huh
Just an educated guess though.

Got my door panels from Don of OMS. It was the first time I ever did business with Don
and never had a bad experience since; that was maybe six years ago.
There is an interesting story with the transaction.

My seats aren't anywhere near perfect, but they still look pretty good. I did them myself and it wasn't all that bad. PITA, but I've had worse work.

Doc, if you'd like some pointers that will make your interior look better than mine, I can help you out. I learned the hard way!

I'm saving up my shekels. I have another $300 or so that I have to drop to get it almost done, but life has reared its ugly head...again...

The problem is the new seat foam is more dense and thicker than
the original and the upholstery is a VERY tight fit. We replaced the
engine with a new long block from Don of OMS and that was a walk
in the park compared to the seats and took less time.

I replaced mine with all new foam and upholstery. Yeah, it was a pain but do-able. I did it over several weekends so I wouldn't rush myself.
