Amusing seller on eBay

Quote:RE: Vehicle condition: cudak sent a message about Ford : Mustang Base Hardtop 2-Door #321264179091

Was just reviewing the photos of the car again. Is it me, or is there duct tape over the cowl vents? Please let me know, as the inner condition of the cowl will determine whether I should make the trip to see the car in person or not.

No tape on cowling. Here’s more pics.

One of those pictures was this:

No tape on the cowl? It's the most prominent feature under the hood, short of the rust! rofl

Uh huh Rolleyes

The ad is just as amusing:

Quote:Some rust in door skin. All other body parts solid....needs...minimal body and paint.

After looking at two holes on the right hand door for a week, they finally reposted the ad showing the left side, so we could see what that "minimal body[work]" and "some rust in the door skin" looks like:

Pfffffbtttt. They think they can get more interest by fibbing. What a crock.

I'd guess the shock tower braces are even peppered with holes, as shown in the pic...

Confused

I'd say they're rusty, but I don't see anything other than the factory holes there.

After a good scrape/sandblast... they'll look like a planetarium with light behind them... as probably is the rest...

There is a '73 unibody that I saw once after an acid dip. Pretty much just as you describe.

The cowl and the doors aren't the only things rusted on that car, they're just the things seen from the few pictures so far....
