Alot more daily driving for my mach1!
#1
The mustang is gonna see its fair share of daily driving this summer, and I can't wait. A new company that i just started with in October, just signed a 3 year contract with GE transportation for the next 3 years. (They build the deisel locomotive engines.) The great part is that the plant is only 16 miles from my house and they just assigned me to that plant for the next 3 years!! I work on overhead cranes, jibs and monorail systems. That type of work had me travelling all the time and could only drive the mustang on weekends and days off. But now im a monday thru friday guy at the same place. Time to get the mustang some new shoes Big Grin I can now drive it to work this summer any day that its nice!!! Now I really cant wait for spring to get here. I only got to put about 3500 miles on it last year. this year hopefully double that!!!

Sounds great to be that close to work. Before I retired I drove 99 miles round trip every workday.

Thats about what i was averaging. A good 3-4 hours of my day driving, then work usually 8-10hrs or more on top of that. Man im glad to be close to home. I can leave my house at 630 and be at work before 7!!Smile

Cool! I use mine as a nearly daily driver too when the weather allows it. I live about 37 miles away from work and I put about 10000 miles on mine each summer. They were built to be on the road!
