I on the other hand like air shocks. Been in my car since 1987 and no issues whatsoever! Also installed 1" longer shackles which really help to get the arse back up and they're only pumped up to 40 psi. I hate that saggy look in the rear on some if not all Mustangs!

71-73 Mustangs never die, they just go faster!

I have had a set of Monroe air shocks on my Mach 1 almost since I got it in 1990. I have a hitch on my car, and I tow my dragboat (s) with the Mach. I have those air shocks on for leveling out the trailers due to their tongue weight, and it works fine. HOWEVER...…….they are completely un-necessary for any other purpose from high performance work to everyday driving. What another entry stated is TRUE....air shocks Will tend to break out the upper mounting holes in the body over time. I only air them up to tow, and relieve the air for the other 99% of the time. Doing this, I have had zero problems in 29 years. In addition, I also have 5 leaf springs , Traction Masters, and a 7/8ths anti-roll bar back there.....needless to say, it's stiff. Again, I added it all because I knew I was going to tow with the car, but I'd remove it all if I had a different vehicle to use to tow with, so, for all you guys , absolutely, don't air shock your car.

Overall, a rather nice looking street....but look at the house on the far right here...a door and an old mattress in the needs-some-attention yard, some sort of boxes along the wall...…does someone from the U.S. live there?
