A few 1973 Fords at the shop
Went to pick up my car at the shop and it looked like it was 1973 at the Ford dealer. I can remember when the last time I saw an XR7.

Wow, nice row of cars! My cousin sold a 73 Cougar XR7 he bought new not to long ago. Sure don't see many of them anymore. A lot of people didn't even know what it was!? The Gran Torino Sport is very close to the one I purchased as my first new car. I had posted a couple of pictures a while back for Luxstang to see as I knew he was a big Torino fan. The red one is a Q code and the Gold Glow a 429 car. My brother got the bright ideal to help me hide the black "Soot" problem I was experiencing with the 4300D carburetor at each tailpipe by painting the rear valence black. Hid the black but made the car look as thought the valence was missing, so eventually changed it back. Notice the 429 car sat much lower in the front than the Q code. Those are some sweet handling and driving cars.
