A chrome Mach 1
#1
Not my taste but I think the hood should have been black chrome instead of white, top it off with black chrome wheels and it would really be a chrome car.

Chrome vinyl wrap
Car looks better than I thought it would!

I'm considering wrapping my primed coupe.
I don't have a garage or know of a booth to rent
and it's much cheaper than a pro paint job.

Thanks for the post!

Alcohol is for drinking.

The devil's in the details - that looks a lot like a beauty shot from one of the Grand Turismo games. Look closely at the headlights, parking lights, sport lamps, and even the center sections of the rims, they totally look CGI - those outlines are just a little too crisp, well-lit, and even "pixelated" to a greater degree than the rest of the picture. The ridge on the outer edges of the Ram Air ducts are too angular (all the way back on the hood), there's not shadow or reflection under the sport mirror, and the letters on the tires are just a little too big.

Not to mention the texture on the wall is not random at all.

That's just what I'm seeing, guys. Neat lookin' concept, though - agree on the black hood treatment as well. thumb

Edit: Here's a similar shot from the game of a different colored car - notice the same details. Also - the hockey stripes both taper severely around the front of the door area, rather than smoothly down the side, same angle of the same front plate, the windshield molding is too thin on the sides, and the bumper brackets seem oddly like they have their own light source.

Definite a in game photo mode. Not a real car. I'd say from Gran Turismo.

Good eye, after checking out your observations I agree, plus the roots on the tree don't look right. The artist did a great job over all though, he should have had you proof it and then it may passed as real car.

Shouldn't be hard to reskin that to chrome/black.

How long will it be before someone tries to sell the screenshot on eBay for $17k? rofl

Don't get me wrong - that's a bad-ass game rendering of our year models. thumb

Gotta wonder how many people play the game, see the car and wonder why they never see those awesome looking Mustangs on the road much anymore. Wink Big Grin

That it is, though this fellow on Deviantart takes '71-73 renderings to a new level:
