My new project car! I bought it for $5,000 from a neighbor, but had to have the transmission rebuilt. The interior will be first on the list and I am sure I will have plenty of questions about it as I go. Carpet, door panels and a lot of other parts (including dash parts) need to be replaced or refinished.

Body in really good shape. A bit of rust in the front of the rear passenger quarter under the chrome trim. Paint is decent, but will need to be repainted eventually. Exhaust is going and the headers on it are kind of beat up so when I do it, I'll need to do it all. Has dual glasspacks on it now so it's a bit over the top for my tastes.

It has a recently rebuilt numbers matching 351C and C6 transmission. I haven't checked the axle code yet, but overall a very stock car. Originally white, but all other options match up to the Marti report.

Nice car Bob. I hope to see more of it as you move into your project.

I'll keep you all posted. My first phase is carpet and door panels. It really needs them. Any suggestions as to the best place to buy?

Great find! Are you going back to White? I bought my carpet from CJ Pony parts. It turned out nice, not too hard to install, but I did need to trim in some areas. I still have my original door panels, so not sure about them.

What a great deal!!

I bought my carpet from NPD......had to trim in some areas and locating the holes for the seat bolts was no fun but it looks fresh!

OHIO MUSTANG Supply is one of our sponsors and Don and his wife are great to work with and his stuff matches up with the best of them. I've bought a part or two from them.
