73 motor mounts

Anyone come up with a good solution for shot 73 motor mounts since they are one year only and not produced? Can you make 71-72 mounts work??
'73 Grandé H Code. Headman long tube headers, T-5 Transmission, 3.70 Traclok, Lowered 1" all around, soon to have Aussie 2v heads w/ 2.19 intake, 1.71 exhaust, screw in studs, full roller cam 608/612 lift 280/281 duration LSA 112, 750 CFM double pumper, Holley Street Dominator intake. Still a work in progress.

'73 F code convertible. Bright red. Needs total restore.

You would have to change the frame stands to the earlier style and then use the pre 73 mounts.
73 conv. 460, D0VE large valve heads, Performer RPM manifold, Voodoo 227/233 cam, Holley 950 HP carb, C6 trans, 3.25 trak-loc.

Ok. I didn't look close last night at the frame stands. Are those bolted on or welded on? Are they produced?

Well I now own a large collection of motor mounts trying to find some that worked , I think I ended up going with a 74 ranchero mounts. But I had to buzz all the the holes some with a carbide bit to work. I changed motors to a 70 block, the old ones didn't seem to fit great either, good luck.

well the problem u have is the same one i have.. first the '73 mounts are made. they are called "clam shells" mounts. and are around $150/pr. the problem u might have is if u are using a fan shroud. there are 2 different frame mounts too.. tall and short. i haven't found who or where to look to get that measurement on frame mounts. u can use the older engine mounts but u may need to shim the engine up 3/4" or so. It's the fan shroud that is the problem if u change.. if u remove it, then it's no problem.

You need 71-2 NON vert frame perches to bolt on and use earlier mounts check with Don.

How long did it take? I've heard some stories about not seeing them for 2+ months.
