I bought this car off ebay 3 yrs ago.Wisconson.92000mi's. Had been sitting for yrs. Originally H code. The story is that is was painted in 82. The body work is not great. It has new quarters.I've painted the engine comp, new battery tray suspension.powerbooster, mastercly, brakelines, radiator,PS pump.New tires,Set of factory slots(ebay) Had the C6 rebuilt beefed up. Bought a freshened up 351c 4v off ebay. 11/1 comp, ported cc heads. Fireball cam specs unknown.Just put on a Torker 2 intake and an edlebrock 750 carb. Still have to decide on the rearend.Trac-lok of course. It has the 275 freeway flyers in it right now. Haven't fired it up since the engine swap.Winter caught up with me.Smile Mark PS I'll fix the pics when I get a chance.

Very, very NICE garage post, Mark!

I had been thinking of using the Boss 351 striping when I redo my '73 Mach I, BUT your '73 striping look GREAT....I don't know, I have to reconsider.

Again, GREAT post and THANKS for sharing!

Love it. Watch those center cap screws on the mags. Mine got welded to the wheels and had to dump them. I made sure the same thing wasn't going to happen again. The wheels and caps are way to $$$$.

Low buck, touring style, '73 Convertible "rolling restoration", 351c, 2v heads with a shave and a haircut, Performer intake, Holley 650(ish), roller rockers, screw in studs, guideplates, stainless valves, Duraspark / Motorsports MSD, T-5 conversion. 1-1/8" front, 3/4" rear swaybars KYB shocks and some home brewed subframe connectors. Future plans; JGC steering box, Cobra brakes and... paint, interior, etc.

When I die I want to die like grandpa, peacefully in my sleep... not screaming, like his passenger.

About half the screws were broke off on these wheels. Had to take them to a machine shop to get extracted. Got all but one screw. The one I worked on. I replaced with Stainless screws and antiseized them.

You said it right UV Smile

UF It is original avocado. I think it only came in the 73. It's not my favorite but a lot cooler in the summer. I guess I need to get my marti report x2. Mark
