73 Convertible
Ongoing low buck project. Used parts, Home made parts, FREE parts, junkyard parts etc. The engine is a 71 2v block with flat top pistons. The heads are of unknown origin and the nicest part of the engine. Motorsports roller rockers, stainless 1 piece valves, guide plates, screw in studs, pocket ported, bronze guides. Intake is a Performer with the "Franken carb" on top. Carb is Holley parts, 750 baseplate, 600 main body, vacuum secondaries, 750 front and rear metering blocks, center pivot bowls. Dual exhaust through OE manifolds and stock replacement mufflers. Stock interior with a full length console. Replica SVT Cobra wheels 18X9 front 18X10 rear. 245-40 front and 285-40 rear tires. 1.25 coils cut off front springs, custom 2" lowering blocks on the rear with the axle located 1/2" rearward to center the tire in the wheelwell.

Nice car droptop!! you know.. i never ever been sitting into a convertible car... Don´t know that feeling of the wind over my hair!! i have to hurry... i still have hair to wind! Tongue

Low buck, touring style, '73 Convertible "rolling restoration", 351c, 2v heads with a shave and a haircut, Performer intake, Holley 650(ish), roller rockers, screw in studs, guideplates, stainless valves, Duraspark / Motorsports MSD, T-5 conversion. 1-1/8" front, 3/4" rear swaybars KYB shocks and some home brewed subframe connectors. Future plans; JGC steering box, Cobra brakes and... paint, interior, etc.

When I die I want to die like grandpa, peacefully in my sleep... not screaming, like his passenger.

LOL! Looks can be deceiving! It runs good for what it is, It's not going to win many races but it runs down the road real nice. No problem getting it into triple digits, it has some real long legs.

When I loaded the engine into the Ranger to bring it home I said to my friend Mart "this is probably the weakest Cleveland ever built at the race shop.
