73 AM radio wires

Is there an engineering number on it?   That's all I can find ,,,,I got the colors wrong ,,,,,
one plug has a black with a strip other is a brown ,,,other plug yellow with a strip and blue with red strip

The yellow wire is power, the light blue with red stripe is for the light. The other connector with the hashed and dashed wires is for the speaker.

I believe that number from what I can find is from a 71 Torino.

A D3ZA-18806 is listed for a 73 mustang AM radio.

'73 Grandé H Code. Headman long tube headers, T-5 Transmission, 3.70 Traclok, Lowered 1" all around, Aussie 2v heads w/ 2.19 intake, 1.71 exhaust, screw in studs, full roller cam 608/612 lift 280/281 duration LSA 112, Quick Fuel 750 CFM double pumper, AirGap intake.

'73 F code convertible. Bright red. Needs total restore. (IE HOT MESS)

Great. I think from a visual standpoint they are nearly identical so I highly doubt anyone would notice and if they do, that's their problem. Smile

I hear ya ..im keeping this car so I can do as I like its going to be a driver not a trailer Queen,,like I said before these years I like the best
