With some effort it could be a real nice car.

Wow - that's pretty nice. thumb

Probably one of the first ones I've seen where the ad didn't stretch the truth (the "The under side is like new no rust!" comment isn't an outright lie!! thumb ).

Price might not be unreasonable, I suppose... "just" an H-Code, though. Wink

Sure wish they had painted the engine block the correct color! That blue is WAY too light!
And I HATE that radiator shroud! Sorry just looks so out-of-place. I see them a lot!

It's weird. I know that Ford Corporate Blue is the color that's supposed to be on the engines. However, most of the underhood pictures I saw early on (when I was planning and gathering supplies), the engines were a lighter blue - such as that. That led me to believe that the 'Old Ford Blue' color I picked out while at the parts store was correct, and that the darker blue was for something else.

I hadn't been here long enough to know the difference yet, but remember getting dog-piled by all the purists for having the wrong paint... to which I pushed back and stayed the Restomod course... but still - it was a bone of contention. Hey - at least it's blue and not orange. Wink whistling

So, how is a guy restoring his car supposed to know [without the benefit of resources such as this site] which is right and wrong, when many of the pictures out there have it wrong, or the sunlight washes out the color, or whatever the reason is?

And since you hate it so much, I think I'm going to post a pic of my engine in my signature pic just to drive you nuts every time I post. Poke Haha
