I bought this pony in late June 2010. It took all my free cash to purchase so I am doing a little bit at a time in restoration. The exterior metal is all really good but had rust in battery pan and trunk. As you can see in modification pictures before and after of battery apron replacement and pass side clean up. Next area is the trunk where weak rusted metal was bondo covered and passenger side drop off replaced. Custom fit replacement base where thin. Replacement bumper is on site and ready for installation once trunk is finished.

My goal is to have ready for shows this Spring. I have my fingers crossed Big Grin

As of May 2011 I am real close to having it ready for show season. Pictures are from a car wash day and first day the Mach saw the Sun since October 2010. Now to resolve the motor issues...

Looking good! Almost identical to my 71 Mach 1 except my rockers aren't painted black! Can't wait to see more...keep us posted!
