Two questions about the grill one ,,,Whats the difference between 72 and the 73 grill,, and even though the 72 has the horse in it and the 73 don't I don't care about that ,,does the 73 have head light bezels?

They are totally different. Your wiring for lights has to change also. The headlight buckets have some parts that exchange but the grill is totally different for Mach 1 Decor Group or Std. grill. Daniel Carpenter makes both years in original Ford tooling so they are available at all Mustang supply houses. He does not sell direct except for rejects he sells on ebay.

Opps... looks like my car is a reject then... I believe I have a part on it from him that I bought off e-hay... whistling

David the 71-2 Mach 1 grille is not OE tooling
The OE tooling was in a warehouse fire, it was put outside after the fire for several years
Carpenter tried to save it but I think he said it was warped.
I think he may have used some parts of it
It is now made on his tooling in China and has his DCMR logo stamped in it
