yum. I've been telling myself for years that I don't NEED a Commander but I am getting weak.....
Please add me. Thanks

I love shooting my 45 cal. black powder rifle and my flint lock pistol: Does that count?

Going fast is fun but life is short so slow down and enjoy the ride Big Grin Frank
Thought some of you would appreciate this. Not my vehicle, but I had to take a photo when I saw it.

I enjoy all kinds of shooting, especially long rang stuff. Photo is from last spring, we shot out to 800 yards that day.

I guess it's time to request the Shooters Logo but I'm glad I did not have to shoot. I drew my weapon today. We got calls that someone with a pickup truck was at the end of our driveway stealing gravel. The driveway is 1/4 mile long and I had a bucket load of gravel dropped there the last time I had work done to the driveway. I planned to use it to fill in the recurring pot holes the develop all the time here. I had a .45 ready and in hand but held in my coat pocket. The likelihood of needing to shoot seemed low but after having had a rifle pointed at me by a poacher I like to maintain my options. Nobody was at the end of the driveway so the weapon was put away. The neighbor across the street said that the neighbor behind him (flag lot) took the gravel. Drove back there to find out what was going on. He was surprised that I was not happy with him. "I figured it was excess so..." When asked why he did not call to ask before taking it he just repeated how he thought it was excess. This has been going on for a while. My bucket load is just about gone and his long driveway has a lot of holes filled with fresh gravel.

I told him that he should never pick up anything from my property without asking first. I also told him that the thing that bothers me the most is the fact that had I gotten down to the end of the driveway faster he could have been looking down the barrel of a gun and I was unhappy with anyone who would give me a reason to un-holster a weapon because that is a dangerous situation that I prefer to avoid. I hope he got he point but you never know with young un's these days.
Well that sucks. Give the man his badge, props for keeping a cool head

He has all the vices I admire and none of the virtues I despise
Thannks, older = self control in this case. If you want to keep your "totin' permit" it is best to stay out of trouble unless trouble won't let you walk away.
Please add me to the shooters list!
