67 GT Marti Report
#1
Thought I would post this up for my 67 GT. I did not want to post it in our Marti section leaving that just for the 71 - 73. Just installed the rebuilt tranny this weekend and looking forward to scratching some tires this weekend.

Color Reminds me of my first car, 65 Mustang coupe in Honey Gold. Looks like car was built late in the 67 model run. Big block cars not easy on tires, have fun.

Thank you everyone. It is the only mustang I get to drive at this point so the tranny being out for 3 weeks has been a bummer. The 3-4 shifter fork was bent and had to be replaced. Gee wonder how that happened????? It is tuff on tires and even has a very mild cam in it right now. When the 72 is done the attention and savings will swing in the direction of this car. This is going to be my FUN car. One I can go out on a nice day and thrash it around and smoke off some frustration. Right now thinking about bigger cam, headers, rack and pinion, stiffer rear gears (still has 3:00), and other interior upgrades. At some point it will need a repaint as the $3,500 paint job in 1996 is starting to show its age.
